PENGUIN SPOON REST, circa 1953. Manufactured by McCoy Pottery. Known as Decorated Spoon Rest. RARE ITEM PRODUCED IN 1953 ALONG WITH A BUTTERFLY SPOON REST. This spoon rest was made during the same year as the Range Set (Cabbage Salt and Pepper with Cabbage Grease Jar and the Mango Pepper and Cucumber Salt shakers) specialty Kitchenware items. The Item is in excellent condition with some crazing. Marked: McCoy USA. The item is from a private collection.
